Now professional racers aren't the only ones who can get super light high-performance bindings. As skis become shorter and shorter, the percentage of ski length covered by your bindings has increased to nearly 40% in some cases. This high amount of coverage begins to inhibit the flex of the ski, causing poor edge grip and flat carving...So Atomic went straight to work, excited by the new challenge. After numerous failed attempts to make human feet smaller, Atomic decided just to do the work it takes to make a better binding.
